Enhong Yu is nationally certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She maintains state licensure in North Carolina.

Enhong specializes in the treatment of pain management (acute injury, sports injury, industrial injury and chronic pain), cervical vertebral syndrome, lumbar and leg pain, mental-emotional problems (depression, anxiety, etc.), insomnia, stroke (sequelae stage), women's health concerns (specifically menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause, etc.), gastrointestinal disorders, and many other health care.

Enhong earned her Master's degree (a three-year advanced degree program in Chinese Medicine only for medical-background graduates) from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also earned her Bachelor's degree in medicine (a six-year medical degree program equivalent to the North American M.D. degree) from West China University of Medical Sciences. Both are nationally-accredited universities by China Department of Education and Department of Health.

Prior to coming to the U.S., Enhong worked at the City Hospital of Kunming in China as an internal medicine physician after her residency. During her master's program, she received extensive clinic training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Moxibustion, Tuina and other TCM techniques at the Medical Center of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine under prominent professors and masters of TCM. Enhong's unique background in both Chinese and western medicine, coupled with her depth of TCM theory and extensive clinical experience, makes her an extraordinary doctor in TCM and acupuncture.

Enhong is also a member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), the American Acupuncture Council (AAC), and the board member of North Carolina Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCAAOM).
